ACT/SAT FAQs

The ACT/SAT is one of the most important criteria in your child's college admission. It is offered 7 times a year in the United States.
Listed below are some of the questions you or your child may have.

Q: When is the SAT Offered
A: January, March, May, June, October. November, December 

Q: When is the ACT offered
A: February, April, June, September, October, December   
 
Q: When Do I Register For The SAT
A: Approximately one month prior to test date

Q: When Do I Register For the ACT
A: Approximately one month prior to test date

Q: When Should I Start Preparing For The ACT/SAT Test
A: A minimum of 6 weeks prior to the ACT/SAT

Q: How Much Does The ACT/SAT Test Preparation Class Cost
A: We are offering a Live One-On-One 6 week 2 hour seminar for only $540  

Q: What Subjects Does The Prep Class Cover
A: English, Math, Reading, and Science (Science is ACT only)  
 
Q: How Important Are The ACT/SAT Scores
A: Although your ACT/SAT is not the only factor to determine if you are admitted to college it is one of the most important factors  

Q: What Grade Should I Be In To Take The ACT/SAT
A: You should initially try to take the ACT/SAT in your Junior year in high school and then again in your Senior year. If you are a Sophomore 
    in high school you should take the PSAT to prepare you for the SAT as well as qualify you for National Merit Scholarship Programs. However                                                   

    some students begin taking the PSAT in their Freshman year.
